At #93, the Packers Trade Down

With their final pick of the first day of the 2006 NFL Draft (#93 overall), the Packers traded down. In a deal with St. Louis, the Pack sent their #93 pick to the Rams for 109 and 183.

Going into today, the Packers started with 7 possible picks. With all the various trades so far, the Pack now has 11 picks overall, pending any maneuvers on the second day of the Draft.

Whew...still some good talent out there. The Packers have two 4th round picks, two 5th rounders, a 6th and 7th remaining for Sunday...maybe.

A good first day. And the value rounds are still to come.
